Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling

Overview

Oman’s coastline is home to large pods of dolphins, making it one of the best destinations for dolphin watching. Muscat and Musandam are particularly famous for this experience, but dolphins can also be spotted in A’Sharqiyah, Al Wasta, and Dhofar regions.

The waters of Oman are visited by several dolphin species, including:

🐬 Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins
🐬 Common & Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins
🐬 Spinner & Striped Dolphins

Although sightings are not guaranteed, dolphins are most commonly seen between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM along the Muscat coastline.

Itinerary

📌 Day 1: Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling Experience

• 7:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the marina.
• 8:00 AM: Board the boat and set off on a deep-water dolphin-watching cruise.
• Spot various dolphin species, including bottlenose, spinner, and common dolphins.
• After the dolphin tour, stop at a secluded beach for swimming & snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters.
• Enjoy relaxing on the beach before returning to the marina.
