Turtle Beach & Wadi Shab Trip

Day 1: Sinkhole – Wadi Shab – Turtle Watching

Itinerary:

• Pick-up Time: 8:30 AM.
• Bimmah Sinkhole: Start your adventure with a scenic drive through the mountainous landscape, arriving at the Bimmah Sinkhole. This dramatic limestone crater with clear sparkling waters is a perfect spot for a refreshing swim.
• Wadi Shab: After swimming, depart for Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most spectacular and scenic wadis. On arrival, board a small fishing boat to cross the wadi and begin your journey. The stunning beauty of the canyon will leave you awestruck as you walk through it until you reach the Keyhole. Here, you can relax and swim in the crystal-clear pools. Dive through a narrow keyhole to discover a magnificent cave with a stunning waterfall inside.
• Lunch: Enjoy lunch in the Wadi Shab area, surrounded by nature’s beauty.
• Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve: After lunch, head to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. Once at the hotel, take some time to relax before dinner at 8:00 PM.
• Turtle Watching: After dinner, meet your guide and head out to the beach for a chance to see turtles nesting on the shore. While sightings are common, there are no guarantees. After your exciting turtle watching experience, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Sur – Sinkhole – Muscat

Itinerary:

• Breakfast: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
• Dhow Building Factory: After breakfast, depart for Muscat via the coastal road. Your first stop will be a traditional Dhow-building factory, where the ancient craft of wooden shipbuilding has been practiced for centuries.
• Wadi Al Arbaeen: Continue your journey to Wadi Al Arbaeen, a breathtaking canyon surrounded by towering mountain walls. The wadi is filled with clear green-blue ponds and natural swimming pools, making it a perfect photo opportunity. You’ll also have the chance to visit a traditional Omani village, where life remains simple and unaffected by modernity. The locals, including children who greet you with friendly smiles, will give you a warm welcome.
• Lunch: Enjoy lunch en route as you travel back to Muscat.
• Return to Muscat: After a full day of exploring, you’ll arrive back in Muscat in the late afternoon.
