Muscat Break Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Muscat

• Arrival: Meet and greet by our representative at Muscat International Airport, followed by a transfer to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Muscat City Tour

• Morning: Start the day with a half-day city tour of Muscat. Visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Afterward, take a scenic drive along the Corniche and visit the historic district of Muscat.
• Bait Al Zubair Museum: Explore this private collection that displays the wealth of Oman's history and culture.
• Al Alam Palace: Stop for a photo op at the Al Alam Palace, the residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, surrounded by the 16th-century Portuguese forts, Mirani and Jalali.
• Muttrah Souq: Stroll through the traditional Muttrah Souq, where you can shop for handicrafts and silver items. Take the opportunity to haggle with local vendors for unique souvenirs.
• Afternoon: Enjoy a Dhow cruise along the Muscat coastline. As the sun sets, relax and take in the views of the Corniche and the coastal panorama.
• Overnight Stay: Hotel in Muscat.

Day 3: Nizwa – Jabrin – Bahla

• Morning: Depart for Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. En route, make a photo stop at the Fanja Oasis.
• Nizwa: Visit Nizwa Fort, one of Oman’s most impressive forts, featuring a massive Circular Cannon Tower. Explore the Nizwa Souq, where you can find traditional handicrafts and silver jewelry.
• Bahla: Continue to Bahla, one of the oldest towns in Oman. Although the monumental fort is closed for renovation, a photo stop is planned. Bahla is famous for its pottery, and you’ll visit a potter’s workshop (note: this is not possible on Fridays or public holidays).
• Jabrin Castle: Visit Jabrin Castle, built in the 17th century. It’s known for its stunning plasterwork, intricately carved doors, and painted wooden beams.
• Return: Head back to Muscat in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure.
• Overnight Stay: Hotel in Muscat.
