Day 1: Muscat City Tour

Itinerary:

• Pick-up Time: 8:00 AM from your hotel.
• Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: Begin your day with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East, and the only mosque open to non-Muslims and expatriates in Oman. Explore the stunning architecture and grand interiors.
• Muttrah Corniche & Muttrah Souq: Continue along the Muttrah Corniche, enjoying the scenic waterfront, before visiting the Muttrah Souq, where you can shop for Omani specialties such as Frankincense, Omani daggers, and silver handicrafts. Bargain for souvenirs with the help of your guide.
• Bait Al Zubair Museum: Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum to learn about Oman’s rich history, culture, and traditions.
• Al Alam Palace: Stop at the Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, flanked by the Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. Capture a few photos of this iconic landmark.
• Qantab Region: Head to the Qantab region for breathtaking views of the Gulf of Oman, perfect for a photo stop.
• Return to Hotel: After a full day of exploring, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nizwa – Jabrin – Bahla

Itinerary:

• Pick-up Time: 8:30 AM from your hotel.
• Travel to Nizwa: Depart for Nizwa, Oman's cultural capital. Upon arrival, visit the famous Nizwa Fort, known for its massive Circular Cannon Tower, and explore the fort's history and architecture.
• Nizwa Souq: After the fort, explore Nizwa Souq, a vibrant traditional market. If you're there on a Friday, you may get to experience the cattle market, where locals sell donkeys, goats, cattle, sheep, and chickens.
• Jabreen Palace: Next, head to Jabreen Palace, a beautiful castle that showcases medieval architecture, stunning hand-painted ceilings, and intricately carved door frames.
• Bahla Fort: Afterward, visit Bahla Fort, one of the four historic fortresses at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar highlands.
• Lunch: Lunch will be served en route during the tour.
• Return to Muscat: After a day of exploring, return to Muscat to end the tour.
